Van Gogh brick stitch pins
Six Van Gogh paintings as mini paintings to wear on a lapel: Starry Night, Sunflowers, Almond Blossom, Café Terrace at Night, Wheatfield with Crows and Irises. All are the same size, 18 beads by 18 rows, simply drawn, so they look like a series worn side by side. They are worked in brick stitch with no loom; every pattern lists its color codes and bead counts and comes with a printable PDF.

Frequently asked questions
How big are the pins?
All the same: 18 rows of 18 beads, about 2.9 × 2.3 cm (1.1 × 0.9 in). Each takes 324 beads.
How do I make it into a pin?
Stitch the pattern in brick stitch, glue or sew a piece of felt cut to size on the back, then sew a pin back onto the felt. Whip-stitching the felt to the edge beads gives a neat back.
Why do the sides zigzag?
In brick stitch each row sits half a bead over from the one before. With 18 beads in every row, both sides zigzag by half a bead; that is how brick stitch naturally looks.
