A bracelet pattern in three steps
Paint the motif
Start from a ready motif or draw your own on the blank grid; the colors come with Miyuki Delica codes.
Pick the size
Choose your wrist size and the bracelet width; the motif repeats along the length and the total bead count shows right away.
Download or stitch with follow mode
Download the color-coded PDF, or open the pattern in the editor and stitch it row by row in follow mode.
Tips for a great bracelet pattern
- Pick one background color and two or three for the motif; patterns with few colors look elegant and their beads are easy to find.
- The more evenly the motif length divides the bracelet, the cleaner the ends meet.
- In peyote every other row shifts by half a bead; diagonal and diamond motifs look best on that layout.
- The ends leave room for the clasp, so the bead count takes the clasp allowance off your wrist size.
Bracelet pattern questions
Is the bracelet pattern maker free?
Yes. The maker, the PDF download, the pattern editor and follow mode are free, and there are no ads.
How many beads does a bracelet take?
It depends on your wrist size and the bracelet width. A 17 cm wrist at 8 beads wide takes about 728 Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads. The maker shows the total and the count per color for your sizes.
What is the difference between loom and peyote?
On a loom the beads sit in a square grid and are woven on the loom. Peyote is stitched with a needle; every other row shifts by half a bead, so the pattern looks like brickwork. The maker shows the stitch you pick the way the editor does.
How do I save my pattern?
Download it as a PDF, or open it in the editor with “Edit and start weaving”. In the editor the pattern is saved to your account and follow mode picks up where you left off.
Can I use other Miyuki colors?
The maker offers the most popular Delica colors. Open the pattern in the editor to choose from every Miyuki Delica and TOHO color.
