Frequently asked questions

Which stitch are the flag bracelets made in?

These patterns are loom bracelets; the rows line up straight, so stripes and crosses look sharpest on a loom. You can switch a pattern to peyote in the editor, but shapes shift by half a bead.

How many beads does a flag bracelet take?

These bracelets are 8–10 beads wide and about 18 cm (7 in) long; each takes 730–900 beads, or 3.5–4.5 g of Miyuki Delicas. Each pattern page lists the count per color.
