Name bracelet pattern generator
Type a name or a short word and BeadDot turns it into a bead pattern with Miyuki Delica color codes. Pick the letter size, colors and bracelet length, then edit the pattern and stitch it row by row.
- A–Z, digits, ♥ and Turkish letters such as Ç, Ğ, Ö, Ş, Ü
- Two letter sizes for narrow and wide bands
- Ready with color codes and bead counts
In peyote the letters are redrawn for the offset rows: vertical strokes alternate one and two beads. Small letters’ narrow gaps close on those rows, so peyote uses large letters.
The pattern opens in the editor: fix letters, change colors and follow it row by row in follow mode.
Bead letter chart
Every letter, accented letter and digit in two sizes. Small letters read on a narrow 7-bead band, large letters on a 9-bead band; a border stripe adds one row on each side.

Tips for a readable name bracelet
- Pick a strong contrast between text and background: dark letters on a light band or the other way round.
- Short names fit well in large letters; long names and two words fit better in small letters.
- Letters look thinnest on a loom; in peyote they get a little bolder and use the large size.
- Opaque colors give the crispest letters; transparent and metallic beads can be harder to read in some light.
Name bracelet questions
Is the name bracelet pattern generator free?
Yes. The generator, the pattern editor and follow mode are free, there are no ads and you don’t need an account to start.
Does it support accented letters?
It draws A–Z plus the Turkish letters Ç, Ğ, I, İ, Ö, Ş and Ü; dots and cedillas sit in the row just above or below the letters. Other accented letters are not drawn yet.
How many beads does a name bracelet take?
It depends on the length and letter size. A 17 cm bracelet in small letters without a border takes about 640 beads. The generator shows the total and the count per color for your settings.
Which stitch should I use?
Either works. On a loom the letters keep their thinnest square-grid shape and both sizes are available. In peyote every other row shifts by half a bead, so the generator redraws the letters for that layout; they stay symmetric but get a little bolder. Small letters’ narrow gaps close on those rows, so peyote uses large letters.
Can I add symbols like hearts?
Yes: ♥, -, . and ! are available, and so are digits. Draw more complex shapes bead by bead in the editor.
